Band of BADGERS PRESENTS PLAYLIST PODCAST 46 hour 1 PROMO.jpg

Show #46 was another 2 massive hours of marvellous music.

This marked the final podcast of ‘what I call‘ series 3 so I could go off and have a bit of a break. The current run constituting series 4 is running at 22 shows with about 5 more to go before my next break. That is how many I am behind blogging. The idea is from now on to blog about two shows per week to work up and bring me up to date.

Hit play on this 2 hour tune-filled extravaganza for my usual mix of genre-spanning selections. Starting with a couple of classics from those (to me) Rock Gods Led Zeppelin, then it is a full-on Indie assault from the likes of Lightfire, The Survival Code, Broken Witt Rebels, The Dream Thieves, Whitemoor, The Retrospectives, Carnival Youth, Goldsmack, Peur & Static In Verona.

The 1st hour closes with another few classics thanks to Bob Dylan & Cilla Black.

Hour 2 kicks off in a whole new dimension thanks to the incredible music of Nils Frahm, then it is on to Startled Space Moth (aka Aaron Shanley), Dream of Sleeping, Nate Maingard, Mark Chadwick, Ciaran Lavery, Gretchen Peters, Beth Porter & the Availables, Meadowlark & Angus Powell.

There’s a hidden track from Fleet Foxes that snuck itself in (meaning I had a little extra time after putting the show together) before The Doors bring the show & series to The End. Hope you enjoy. If you do, please share MASSIVE!
