Although it opened up with songs from two more established signed acts – the stunning second album opener from Ben Howard & (at the time) free download No Harm from Editors’ latest upcoming (again, at the time) album – there was a return to the usual indie  (signed) and unsigned playlist for podcast #43.

Those sensational savage beasts, The Savage Nomads followed by a bass line so deliciously intrusive & overall a brilliant track from Richard Maule. Over to the US for a tasty tantalising tune from Clones of Clones, then sensational serenity from Other Lives. I later went on to devour the previous two albums from Other Lives as well as got to see them live in all their magnificent glory in Islington last November. Magical!

There was some hip hop rappin from Boy Pierce at mid-section before the acoustic half opened with a song from Joe Pug‘s new album Windfall. I then went on to see Joe live in London last June. That was one quality packed gig!

Then staying in the US again with a wonderful song from Nolan Kennedy (check out his blog too, awesome read), before two fantabulous songs courtesy of Jacob & Drinkwater, & Folkstock‘s Peter Guy. Cariad Harmon stuns with Every Time before JR Richards brings us a truly Beautiful End.

Do tune in to my latest podcast (#68) @RadioKC Wednesday 20th April from 8PM (UK time)
