Well, I am still trailing behind by no less than 20 podcasts when it comes to getting up to date with them on the blog. So…..let’s crack on with this and set a task to bring them right up to date before March is out, eh? Prepare to be bombarded with lashings and lashings of superb music. Listen, share, comment, buy, get to gigs. Above all, enjoy.

Kicking off show #38 is some mega rock thanks to Royal Blood who I saw live a few weeks prior. I still need those new eardrums. The Phantoms dazzle us with their fantastic new single (at the time) followed by new find Young Kato who have an incredible sound! Continuing the incredibleness is Officer before a song from Will Rogers‘ brand new album Misfits (go buy it please >>http://www.willrogersmusic.com<<).

exportlogored90pppAnother newbie comes from Iwan Rheon‘s debut full-length album Dinard before I nudge you into a kind of folk corner playing songs from Paper Aeroplanes, one from Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman‘s new album & another superb new find, The Boondock Hippy.

There’s a stunning free download from Sleepthief ft. Amanda Elswick before some hidden shorts from Blind Guardian‘s Nightfall in Middle Earth. To close is a slice of 10minute heaven from The Unthanks.

THE PLAYLIST:

1. Come On Over by Royal Blood

2. Wasting Time by The Phantoms
