Hidden Jules are a secret gem of a duo in Hertfordshire. Though, like many precious items, word quickly spreads and they become highly sought after. The duo may have only been formed in 2014 as a hobby but the musicians have a relationship lasting many many years.
It is this knowledge of each other that leaves little needed to be said on stage as it is this comfort and belief held in one another’s skills and capability that captivatingly increases their performance time after time.
With Jon Horlick on a wonderfully mesmerising lead guitar (and I would especially like to mention Ebow) and Julie Williams on rhythm guitar and vocals that range from intimate delicacy to the grinning for-love-of-it confidence that we all fall in love with music for, the duo entertain audiences with a mix of Country, Folk and Blues of an enjoyably infectious nature.
And though I welcome with thanks Hidden Jules to the Blues from the Herts project, I am also excited to say this isn’t their only exciting musical announcement to be made in coming months!
