SOUNDCLOUD SUNDAY

3

March 8, 2015 by Robb Powell

This isn’t exaclty a top ten or anything. In fact, to keep up the alliterative splendour I was aiming more for Soundcloud Sunday Six but then the awesome songs just kept coming so I capped it at ten to share here for today. While it is typically via Twitter and other links I get directed to a band or musician’s Soundcloud page there are times I get a chance (not often enough, sadly) to just enjoy whatever is coming up in my soundcloud stream/feed which is from where most of the below have come from. It is a great tool to find new music. One of the many ways to these days.

I did select this first song personally though as I am indeed off to see The Unthanks live at the Warwick Arts Centre this evening. Very excited I must say. A mix of genres follows this folktastic first song, the single version of the title track from the new album Mount the Air. Enjoy.
