The dynamic duo are back. No, not Batman and Robin. Better. Okay, maybe not of the Penguin and Joker-beating kind (but hey, who knows?), but musically Bloodflower‘s Jonathan Owen and Tom Manning knock us well and truly for six with their latest release People / Places. Prepare to be taken on a journey of pure aural euphoria. The brooding intro casts a wide shadow as the track soon opens and launches you up to soaring heights from which it doesn’t bring you back from until its end fade out. This track grows with the kind of gradual finesse that induces a state of relaxation before an almighty pounce on your auditory senses. It drenches you with so much energy you can’t but feel totally invigorated come the end.
It is infectious and WILL be an earworm your ears and mind radio will relish. They will devour it! I don’t like or tend to label, but this is the kind of electronica pop that packs in so much quality it needs to be all over the airwaves and played in every club up and down the land. Already receiving well-deserved attention and play from the likes of Radio 1’s Huw Stephens as well as on 6Music, Radio Wales and beyond, Bloodflower are in full bloom. http://www.iambloodflower.com/
